What's New At Knitter's Addiction

Hi Everyone!

We hope you are all doing well.  I apologize for the delay in getting caught up with my blogs.  I have been incredibly busy with my (almost) 8 week old.  I cannot believe how quickly the last 2 months have gone by! 

We found out that Australia Post is raising their postage rates in July.  We are very upset by this and do not understand why they keep raising them on us!  We wanted to give the heads up to everyone that we will have a special sale right before the increase in order to give you the chance to stock up before the rates go up.  So keep watching for the special sale!

We are selling out our older 12 ply 100% cashmere line.  Be sure to stock up at this great price.  We have also discounted our Cashmere/Merino 8 Ply and 12 Ply yarns for the month of June.  This way there are some great yarns to keep you cozy while knitting and crafting through the next few cold winter months in the southern hemisphere!  Happy Shopping and Crafting!

Issue number 14 of YARN has arrived.  Be sure to grab your copy before it sells out.  It is full of some great patterns for all skill levels.  My favorites this month include the baby sling and the sherwood forest hoodie. 

To celebrate Allison's newborn we will be having a special sale soon.  It will be for a very limited time and will be perfect to help you fill up your stash!  Keep watching over the next few days for more info!

Just a quick update to let you know that we had some more of our lace weight cashmere arrive today...so if you were watching for a colour to come in stock...it should be available now.

Also, the "older" 12 ply line is quickly selling out.  We are almost sold out of the 2 red shades we have.  Be sure to stock up as this is the last we will have of this 12 ply worsted weight cashmere.  (For fans of the colour red...we will be having a red soon in the premium range of cashmere).

Some are fabulous for learning to knit and developing your technique to be able to do more advanced patterns.  We also have a couple which are "must-haves" for any knitter of any skill level as they help in any "sticky" situation or problems with our knitting.  There is also a great craft book and also the incredibly beautiful and art filled Nicky Epstein's "Knitting on Top of the World."  This book is amazing and makes a great gift.

Two new additions in our 12 ply premium 100% cashmere have arrived!! We have added 2 great new shades of pink which we are sure you will enjoy.  One called Amaranth Pink which is a great mid-range pink shade and the other is Aster Pink which is a fabulous light shell pink.  Both are wonderful colours to wear year round.

In just the last few days we have received the Winter 2008-2009 Vogue Knitting magazine.  We have the international version which is exactly the same as the North American version except for the cover design and the title.  For the international version they have started calling it "Designer Knitting."  This winter 2008-2009 edition is full of some fabulous patterns for all levels of knitters.

Happy April 1st to Everyone!  For those in the Northern Hemisphere spring has arrived while those of us "down under" are gearing up for winter....so just in time we have added a few new colours to our cashmere yarns!

In the 100% Premium Cashmere 12 Ply Yarns we have added the colors:

• Hovsgol Blue (A Mid-Range Blue...Absolutely Stunning!)
• Khentei White (A Lovely Cream White)
• Tundra Grey (A Lovely Light Steel Grey)

In our 100% Cashmere Lace Weight 2 Ply Yarn we have added the color Blue Steel which is a great blue that has hints of grey to it.  I am sure you will like this colour!

We are waiting on some new "pink" shades in the premium which should be arriving any day now.  We also will have some other new exciting cashmere yarns arriving soon...so be sure to keep checking back often.
